The U.S. Figure Skating Bridge Program

What Is It?
The Skating Club of Boston is proud to continue our innovative program for the 2011-2012 Basic Skills season. Each week, students will participate in an on-ice segment and an off-ice segment designed by U.S. Figure Skating.* The on-ice curriculum includes components such as stroking and edges, power skating, introductory moves-in-the-field, spins, and jumps. The off-ice curriculum includes proper stretching techniques, conditioning exercises and warm-up and cool-down tips.
* Program style may vary by location.

Who Can Participate?
The class is open to Basic 4 through Preliminary Free Skate levels. (Based on the number of students who sign up for the classes, the skaters will be broken up into similar levels.)

Anyone who meets the level requirement and is either a member of The Skating Club of Boston, The Skating Academy, or a member of U.S. Figure Skating from another club is welcome to sign-up for these classes.
